The Losi Slider class is designed for the young or old entry-level racer who wants to enter the hobby of RC racing at the lowest startup and maintenance cost and minimal prep time available. This is an excellent class for that family member that travels often to the track but doesn't want to race in the more expensive and time-consuming classes. This class is the fun, striped-down version of RC racing. Buy the Slider, set it up, and run it. Anyone entering this class needs to keep the spirit of the class in mind. Have some fun!

Body
Losi's factory slider body must be used. Minor modifications can be done to increase cooling to the motor or easier access to the battery.

Roof Wing
Stock Losi roof wing must be used. The lexan side panels and top may be replaced with regular lexan as long as original dimensions are kept. The plastic Losi wing supports must be used and cannot be replaced with any other substitute. Wing mounts cannot be moved or altered.
Dimensions:
Left Wing: 4.5" x 2.75"
Right Wing: 4.5" x 2.25"
Top: 3.75" x 4.25"

Front Wing
Losi stock front wing or lexan replacement measuring and configured like stock. (2.5" x 1.25" with 3/8" wicker sides)

Wheel Base
Stock chassis must be used. Stock width must be maintained.
Front width: 6.75" Rear width: 7" Wheelbase: 7.25"

Minimum Weight
Chassis or other parts cannot be drilled or altered to lessen the Slider's overal weight.

Tires
Street tread rubber tires made for the Losi Slider. Losi Stock Rims must be used with any inserts.

Batteries
Any production NiCd or NiMH stick battery pack designed
for 1/18th scale RC racing. Retail cost of the battery cannot exceed $25.

Motor
Stock Losi 280 motor or
Associated 370 motor
Stock Losi ESC or entry-level ESC with similar features and output

Modifications Permitted
Any modifications/upgrades not listed below are not legal. When in doubt, discuss it with tech officials before you purchase additional upgrades or modify your slider.

• Losi CVDs
• Upgraded turnbuckles and ballcups/captured ends
• Any aftermarket 1/18th scale shocks with any oil weight and limiters
• Any plastic or metal spur or pinion can be used as long at the teeth number is available from Losi for the Slider
• A ball diff may be an upgrade to the stock configured transmission. All other parts and case must remain stock.
• Aftermarket plugs may be added or eliminated all together.
