Other bodies must be preapproved by management or by DODC.

Bodies may have a reasonable opening for cooling the motor and battery. The body may not be altered in anyway from its stock configuration i.e.: shortened, lengthened, narrowed etc. An under body support may be added to brace each rear quarter panel, but must hold it in stock position, can not be flared out. Molded portion of body must be no longer than 22". Front and rear windows may be removed at trim lines but a flat lexan or similar material deck must be added in cockpit area. Bodies with add on roofs may leave front and rear windows in or out but roofs must be mounted in stock position.

Rear Spoiler
Maximum rear spoiler is 2.75" from the deck including any molded in portion. A right side spoiler cap is allowed and must follow closely the dimensions in this DODC drawing.

All foam tires must be wiped clean of any traction compound before setting the vehicle down on the track or pit lane. Tires will not be allowed to leave tracks on the racing surface or pit lane. One warning will be issued before disqualification for the day.

Motor
13.5 Spec: DirtOval.com Spec 13.5 Motor or the Novak 13.5 motor and DirtOval.com SPEC Li-Po 3200mah batteries are the only motors and batteries legal for this class. Sensored speed controls only. ONLY DirtOval.com or Novak labeled 13.5 motor and 3200mah batteries are allowed.

All racers shall take every precaution to insure safe charging and discharging techniques with their batteries. This shall include but is not limited to, attentive monitoring of battery during charging and use of a proper charging container i.e., LiPo sack. To insure safe charging methods are followed by all competitors, batteries may be checked prior to a race to ensure battery voltage is a maximum of 8.44 volts or less. If the battery reads 8.45 or more you do not race. Battery temperature may also be checked with the following pre-race procedure. A control pack will be placed in the tech area for the purpose of monitoring the pack temperature. Checked batteries shall be nor more than 70° F or 10° F above the temp of the control pack whichever is greater. All DirtOval.com Spec batteries must use the supplied deans style connector.

DirtOval.com Spec motors must be out of the box stock, with no modifications allowed. No parts of motors may be modified, altered or removed in any way. More specific Tech guidelines for motors will be available to all participating track owners and race organizers.
